Stars Camp is a full day of exciting and fun and safe activities, we make use of our beautiful facility, where campers will receive instruction in a wide variety of sports and arts activities. Many of our activities are taught by instructors who work year-round in related fields.
Star Campers will have access to and participate in ALL the activities on site that MBDC has to offer. There are 7 activities per day, each 40-45 minutes in length. Every day of camp is different, with special events and shows mixed into the weekly schedule.
TRIPS
Trip schedules will be posted on our website and can be accessed by logging into your camp portal account prior to the start of camp. They will also be discussed at length at pre-camp parent meetings. All trips are included in camp fees and in cases where lunch or snacks are provided, parents will be notified prior to the date of the trip.
Swimming is done Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and of course, is weather permitting. There is no swimming on Tuesdays as it is a trip day.
Campers ability and skill levels are evaluated on an individual basis. They are then placed in a designated swim group that is suited to their needs. They receive colored wristbands corresponding the area of the pool they are permitted to swim in. If they require beginner instruction, it is done on a very limited basis several times a week by our fully licensed and trained staff.
