(Grades 1 & 2)
Adventurers Camp offers a full day of exciting, safe and fun activities. By making use of our beautiful facility, campers will receive instruction in a wide variety of sports and arts activities. Many of our activities are taught by instructors who work year round in related fields.
Swimming is an everyday activity in Brooklyns largest outdoor pool or in our heated indoor pool. Each camper will be evaluated individually on his or her swimming skill and ability, and they are placed in the proper level swim group. Beginners are given group instruction several times a week by our fully licensed and trained staff. All New York City Board of Health and American Red Cross requirements are strictly adhered to and enforced.
Adventurers Camp day trips are scheduled once a week on Thursdays to local area attractions. Most trips are part days only and campers will have either morning or afternoon activities. Trip schedules will be handed out prior to the start of camp and are discussed at length at pre-camp parent meetings. All trips are included in camp fees and in cases where lunch is included, parents will be notified prior the date of the trip.
